When does admission to events commence?
Admission normally begins 1 to 1.5 hours prior to the start of events.

When does the event begin?
The time of the event can be found on the purchased ticket.

When does the event finish?
Normally, the event finishes after 2.5 hours. Of course, some events are longer or shorter depending on the support programme.

Is there a support?
This differs from event to event. Further information can be obtained directly from the organizer (details see ticket) approximately 1 week prior to the event.

Is the use of cameras and video cameras on the Festwiese Leipzig permitted?
Video and sound recording equipment, professional photographic equipment as well as SLR cameras are forbidden by the organizers.

Am I allowed to bring food and drinks to events?
The consumption of food or drinks brought to events is not permitted. There is an exception however, for guests who have to carry food or drink due to health reasons, provided they are in the possession of medical evidence. Also excluded from this ban is food for babies and toddlers.
Food and drinks can be purchased before the event and during intervals in our catering areas.

Are children under 16 permitted to attend concerts or sporting events without parents?
Children under 16 will only be able to attend in the company of a parent or guardian (as in accordance with the Youth Protection Law "JuSchG")
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring the supervision of their children. For further information please ask the respective event organizer (Found on your ticket)

Is it possible to purchase merchandise at the events?
This depends on the organizer. However, normally the visitors find merchandise stands.

Is there a lost property office?
Items of lost property found will be stored with the technical service of the Leipzig Arena.

Is smoking permitted on the Festwiese Leipzig?
Yes.

Are there cloakrooms on the Festwiese Leipzig?
No.

Are there toilets?
Yes. For one part visitors may use the toilet facilities at the Glockenturm, for the second part extra toilets will be supplied during large-scale events.

Which public transport connections are there?
The following tram lines to the stadium can be used from the Main Railway Station: 3, 7, 8, 13, 15. The stop is "Sportforum"

Is the use of public transport included with event tickets?
If your ticket has "LVB / MDV" printed on it, you are entitled to use public transport up to 4 hours prior to, and after an event within the zone 110 for free.

Where can I get event tickets?
Tickets are available under www.arena-ticket.com or by phone on 0341 / 2341 100.
Alternatively, you can purchase tickets directly at the Arena Leipzig's Box Office (Friedrich-Ebert Straße) Opening times: Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM.

Tickets can be paid for by cash, credit or debit card.

Can tickets be reserved ahead of advance booking?
No.

Can purchased ticketed be returned for a refund?
No.

What can I do if an event is cancelled when I have already purchased tickets?
Should an event be cancelled, generally tickets can be returned only to the place of purchase, unless the event organizer specifies a different return policy. Please look out for relevant information in the daily press and radio.
